1. Who we are

The VehiGo Mobile application (the "App") is operated by Webatelier SRL, registered office at Str. Brașovului Nr. 4, Biroul 15, Miercurea Ciuc, Harghita County, Romania, 530003 ("VehiGo", "we", "us").

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply exclusively to the VehiGo Mobile app. The VehiGo web platform for auto workshops (vehigo.ro) is a separate product governed by its own terms.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Description of the service

VehiGo Mobile is a personal digital garage: it lets you register your vehicles and manage documents, expenses, fuel-ups, mileage, tyres, maintenance and deadlines (roadworthiness inspection, insurance, road tax, etc.), with reminders and notifications.

The App includes an AI-assisted scanning feature: you can photograph a document (for example a vehicle registration certificate or a receipt) and the App automatically extracts data from the photo to prefill forms. Details on how these photos are processed are in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information. Notify us immediately at office@vehigo.ro if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the App (Profile → Delete account). Account deletion is permanent and results in deletion of the associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription plans and usage limits

The App offers a free plan and paid plans (subscriptions). The features and limits of each plan (for example number of vehicles, storage space, number of AI scans) are shown in the App on the subscription screen.

  • AI document scanning is available exclusively on paid plans. The free plan does not include AI scans; the core features remain available free of charge.
  • We reserve the right to change the limits and composition of the plans. Significant changes will be announced in the App; changes that reduce entitlements you have already paid for do not apply to the subscription period already paid.
  • Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment providers; displayed prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. AI scanning feature · disclaimer

Values extracted by AI scanning may be incorrect or incomplete. Extraction is prefill-only: every value is shown to you for review before saving, and you are responsible for verifying and correcting the data before saving it. VehiGo does not guarantee the accuracy of extracted data and is not liable for the consequences of using incorrectly extracted data (for example deadlines calculated from an incorrectly extracted date).

7. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • scan and upload only documents and images you are entitled to process (your own vehicles' documents, your own receipts);
  • not upload content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes third-party rights;
  • not misuse the App (including attempts to circumvent plan limits, attacks on the infrastructure, automated data extraction);
  • not use the App for commercial resale purposes without our written consent.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you upload (photos, documents, vehicle data). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the service. This licence ends when the content or the account is deleted, except for backups kept for the limited period described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or in case of abusive use. Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to remedy the breach. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

10. Warranties and liability

The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

The App is a personal record-keeping tool: reminders and calculated deadlines do not replace your legal obligations regarding your vehicle (inspections, insurance, etc.).

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version carries a version number (date) shown in the document header. For significant changes you will be asked to re-accept in the App before continuing to use it. The current version is permanently available at the address shown in the App.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts of Romania.

If you are a consumer, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro) and the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
